If you have to ask the question you aren't going to be able to clone them anyway.

Frankly, this question worries me. If you are already working in a lab, your colleagues should know. If they don't usually use laboratory rats, then your colleagues should at least know people from different research groups that would.
The information you ask is not available to the laymen. None of us would be able to answer and even if we knew the answer, we probably wouldn't post it up here for fear of the system being abused.
Generally, suppliers of laboratory rats keep their location and details secret for a reason.

This depends . . . are you a scientist? Student? Crazy person?
If you are a scientist, you would know the answer.
If you are a student, sorry, but this type of experiement is probably WAY over your head and the paperwork to perform this type of experiment is probably out of your reach. Besides, most public schools prohibit experiments on higher order mammals (laboratory rats be one).
If you are a crazy person....I'm not talking to you.

I don't think you can clone a rat unless you are willing to spend millions of dollars on lab equipments for it. You also wouldn't be able to get the equipments or know how to use it unless your a scientist. however I heard that you can have you dog/cat cloned for $50000.
