Look on ebay, you can always find things there. From readymade, to used, to custom stitching. The only way you're going to find a 20 dollar saree is to go to an Indian store (preferably in a bigger city), and haggle. Or, go to Pakistan or India.

I'd suggest ebay, and going to a big city to the Indian section.

You should be able to purchase several "sale" sarees for that price. On average a nice one is about $40-50. They last a long time if treated well. My favorite one $35 is now about 18 years old and its colors are still good. No sunlight and cool water wash.

A fancy silk or multicolored one will cost much much more.
I have seen them with real gold and pearls for thousands of dollars.
