If I were you I'd put on that plaid skirt. Also, join a gym or someplace where you can get out and meet people. Get a pet. Sometimes they make you feel young.

I will keep it real simple. it is my best attempt to be of some help. time is the thing. it takes at least a year to lose the high likelihood of backsliding and making it worse than ever. time, time, take the time until you are past a year. let nothing else be of interest. you are dealing with life and death and only you can save yourself. so long as you have the will to live. fight to stay clean and sober and let nothing else matter. not family or Friends. not even your children or anything. i repeat time is the secret. stay straight for a lot longer than you think. a lot longer. don't even look up for a year. live to stay straight. slowly you will come around and get another chance to restart your life. lol bro

In all honesty, you have to get up off your butt and decide to be more active in your life.
Go to the gym regularly. Maybe you'll meet new people, plus I've heard that drugs have a reservoir in body fat, and you may be less likely to relapse later once you burn it off. Plus, it's a challenge, something to focus on and feel good about once you're in fantastic shape. Sometimes, I'm tired going in, but always leave with a lot more energy. When I first started though, I had to keep going even when I felt like crap, and just pushed myself a little more everytime.
Do something that feels relaxing, to center and take care of yourself. Meditate, learn tai chi and/or yoga (listen to soothing music).
Slow down, and make some healthy comfort food (in moderate portions). Sometimes, being creative & curious in the kitchen can be a healing thing. You're taking care of yourself on several levels.
Make sure you're getting therapy/have someone to talk to, if things start to feel overwhelming. Therapy is pretty normal nowadays.
Volunteer. They say that by giving something to someone else, you are also giving something to yourself. Maybe, you will begin to find some purpose/meaning in your life. And you'll probably meet people.
And yes, we do need to be self-sufficient/create an independent life for ourselves. While being good to yourself/being in a better place, take a few classes/decide where you want to go to college/major in. Get caught up in the dream of what your life could be.
Find a job in the area, to afford things and feel like an in-charge, independent person. Look in the paper, look at posters, call around to see who's hiring, search on the Internet, whatever you can. And search for free clinics for therapy, a free meditation center/tai chi club, cheapest gym in the area (maybe you could work at a gym for a free membership+wages).
Be busy, stay active.

You have to give it time to overcome the toll the drugs did on your body.
You also sound depressed and probably should see a doctor about that.
Do one thing each day toward a realistic goal you set for yourself.
Get some exercise--it works wonders on your mood.
Pray for the wisdom to get the help you need.
Good luck to you

Outlet or a hobby, I had a few frieds who had gone through similar situations. We founds physical but not overly expensive outlets was the way to get our minds off of it. Paintball, airsoft, rock climbing (moving wall or indoor arena), laser tag. All was fun and we enjoy those activities to this day. Hope I helped, congratulations on becoming sober!

Go out and play! Get in the sand at the beach or get on the swings at the park. Go to the bookstore, go swimming, just get out of the house and do fun things that kids do.

Get into life, get involved, heck, just get out....honestly, nothing feels better than being at work, contributing in some way. Just going for a walk in the morning helps me out. But hey, you gotta find your niche.

I mean this in friendship....please seek the Lord Jesus Christ. There is such a beautiful verse in the bible...this is God speaking to you: "I know the plans I have for you; plans to prosper you, and not harm you, to give you hope and a future". The bible is full of beautiful promises. He is the living water. If you seek Him and His word, He will enter your heart and give you peace, joy and a fresh breath of life.
Congratulations on facing down the addiction of drugs. Let Jesus give you back what the locusts have taken away.

Your body is depleted of its nutritional reserves. Go to a health food store and talk to them about mega vitamins and minerals. And get some regular exercise, as much as you can stand. Best of luck.
