have a great dream and then all of a sudden you wake up. And you're like man I wasn't done with that dream and you want to go back to sleep and go back to that part of the dream where you woke up at? If so what kind of dream was it?

Yes... I do that alot!
Generally its a dream about something I have been wanting for a long time. Perhaps, spending time with someone I deeply care about, or doing something that I really enjoy (i.e. being on a cruise).
Occasionally, if the environment is right (no alarm going off) I am able to allow myself to slip back asleep and into the same dream. Other times, I dream something completely different.
I once read something very interesting about dreams. (This is off subject, but interesting.) This study said that if you were dreaming about a place you were familiar with, that you could actually control what happened in the dream by thinking about it. I've tried it, and most of the time, it actually works... if I can focus on it. lol. Give it a shot... kinda interesting.

Yes, that happens to me all the time. I have very vivid dreams almost everynight. It's almost like my own personal soap opera going on in my dreams each night. Waking up during one is almost like someone knocking on the door during your favorite show.

Yes, many times, I don't remember them,but if I wanted to continue the dream it must have been good.
