Easy answer is of course it does.
When you're 10, one year is 1/10th of your life.
When you're 30, one year is 1/30th of your life.
Time compresses and passes faster as you get older because you have more life experience.
Depressing, huh?

Yes it sure does, so my hubby and I plan things differently now than how we did things in the past, we dont get in a big hurry to do things, but we sure do enjoy all the things that we do do.... the little things, both wake up at say midnight and get dressed and go on a walk under the stars... this coming weekend we are going ice fishing and really looking forward to it... We are some what fly by the seat of our pants type couple... lol but still lovin life and each other as time flies by

Yes, it seems like yesterday I was saying how I wanted to be out of school and get on with life. Those are the days. The older you get the more time flies.

Well...i think its the mind set that gives that perception. When we are young, we always want to get older so that we can do more things that we are not able to do as kids. So we constantly keep an eye on getting older, and that way spend more time pondering upon that issue. This constant worry about NOT getting older gives the opposite perception...that is of time moving slow.

When we are getting older, we think the exact opposite. We miss our childhood days and so want to stay young and preserve the present. The constant worry about getting older gives the opposite perception...that is...of time moving quickly.

Yes. It is a matter of perspective. When you are 5, another year is 20% of your life. When you are 50, it is only 2%. Therefore it SEEMS to pass so much faster.

It definitely does fly by. I can remember my parents talking about this when I was younger. I'm now talking about it with my kids and my friends. It is the way of life. Have a good night and enjoy every second.....

It absolutely seems like it. I think it is because when you are young you always seem to be waiting for something and there is nothing that makes time pass slower than waiting. Like the proverbial watched pot that never boils..
Just think about the things you wait for and I think you will see what I mean..

Yes really it does. It feels like a year is just 6 months. It's freaky. Plus if you get busy. Time flies more....
