Two of my favorites are "Say Goodbye" by Chris Brown and "So Sick" by Ne-Yo. Anyone know some really good ones that are like that?

Sarah McLachlan's "Surfacing" cd. It'll have you wanting to cut your wrists with your cd player!

Aaliyah - The one I gave my heart to
Xscape - Understanding
Dru Hill - All Alone

Not like those, really, but:

1) "Nightswimming," by R.E.M. It's sort of... melancholy remembrances of days lost.
2) "For Good" from the Broadway musical "Wicked;" the original cast starred Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel. This song is about two friends who know they'll never see each other again and are saying goodbye.
3) I can't think of the name of the song, but it was the theme to "Fly Away Home." Lyrics: "Fare thee well, my one true love. I'll be gone for a while, I'm going away..."

Crap...some people took what I was going to say. So here are other songs:
"Goodbye My Lover"-James Blunt (but he sounds pathetic and annoying at the end)
"How to Save a Life"-The Fray
"Boston"-Augustana
"All By Myself"-I have no idea who sang this
"We Belong Together"-Mariah Carey
"Because of You"-Kelly Clarkson
"You'll Think of Me"-Keith Urban
"Fix You"-Coldplay
"What's Left of Me"-Nick Lachey
"I Can't Hate You Anymore"-Nick Lachey
"Hate Me"-Blue October
"Family Portrait"-Pink

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. They're not as cool as yours though.

I guess it depends on what kind sad songs. I prefer songs like "Miss you" by blink182, "someday" by mandy moore, "show me the meaning of being lonely" by backstreetboys, "Scientist" by coldplay and "quit playing games with my heart" by backstreet boys. There are many more but this all i can think of right now.
