If you are using it as a Blu-Ray player, yes it's worth the money.
But I truly believe, if you are using it primarily for gaming, then no, it isn't worth the money.

You should wait until the first gen systems get bought up and there are more than 20 games out, of which 3 or 4 are worth purchasing. Give it a year. All the bugs should be corrected. Then again, it is Sony we are talking about....

Stat wise it is. Blu-Ray, large HD, great graphics. if that stuff is important to you. The thing is not is the PS3 worth it, are the games worth the purchase of the system. what good is a system with no good game. thats what i'm trying to figure out now.

Just wait about a year and the price will go down. I bet though by a years time they will come out with a newer playstation but no it is not worth 600 bucks

I think its worth it because it is just like a psp and you can watch blue ray discs

its plays blu ray and i have a 1080i tv so to me its worth it...
