How do I get rid of a small beep that sounds each time i change web pages. Sounds like its window generated?

I have XP home. Just rebooted system and the beeps happen everytime I click a new web page from the one i'm currently viewing.

That sounds like your pop-up blocker. Just change the settings to no sound when pop-up is blocked or don not alert me when pop-up is blocked I can't remember exactly which it is I haven't changed the sound settings in a while
