I use boudreaux's butt paste and it works great. I end up using it once every two weeks or so. Any other time I rub vaseline on my baby. If you can find it try using it. Nothing else worked for my baby.

I am wondering if you have tried a few brands and had some not work for you and are therefore skeptical.

Point one- I believe I read somewhere that 'Butt Paste was the original diaper rash formula.

Point two- I have 3 kids and different things worked for each. My oldest would only heal with the cheapest store-brand stuff- Desitin made him worse. My second would respond poorly to any brand except Desitin, and the store brand stuff had absolutely NO effect. My third and last responds well to almost any, but the Butt Paste is best and quickest for her.

So- yes, I've used it and it's good, but you may have to try a few brands to find what works with your own child's body chemistry.

Butt Paste is GREAT! Also, try to leave your baby's diaper off for periods of time. The fresh air is great for diaper rash or irritation!

ITS THE BEST!!! Cures just about ANY skin issue; diaper rash (by the next diaper change), poison oak (as per my sons scout leader), and lasts a long long time. You'll never use anything else, ever.

Yes, and it's pretty good, but for severe diaper rash I'd rather use the original Desitin.

It's O.K., the best is Flanders. I thought it was discontinued because I use to buy it in the baby isle at the drug store, well it wasn't discontinued all stores keep it in the pharmacy. You don't need a prescription, just ask for it.

i've used it, but i still like the desitin. i guess it depends on the baby's skin! lots of people LOVE butt paste, but so far the only thing that has worked for my daughter is desitin. she has really sensetive skin. so yeah, it just depends...

if your referring to diaper rash cream then yes, use it generously and keep the baby's but from being sore. also remember to change them frequently so diaper rash can be avoided more often then not.

I did and to be honest i liked desiten (sp?) the best. Its much creamier and hurts the baby less when applying.
