It is absolutely not too late! A 45 year old is a great candidate because they have experience, maturity and hopefully a nice polished work ethic. I would hire a 45 year old in a minute!!!!!!!!

It is not too late in life to start a career at 45. You should be proud of yourself for being able to have another career.

Heavens No!! I started my new one at age 46! 45 isn't all that old in the grand scheme of things, in fact where I'm sitting, it's still pretty young! Of course you might be limited, depends on what you want to start.

Definitely not too late! google the web and you'll find lots of sources for those people with a few grey hairs and how best to position yourself in your new career. good luck!

Not at all! I'm 41 and am about to change careers by starting my own business. Granted, there are some occupations that are not suited to middle agers (i.e. nude dancer) but most are.
