I've been trying to figure this out for a loooong time, b/c I have a lot of songs on my sansa, and I want them ALL deleted. But the only way I know how is to delete ne by one which takes bloody ages. And I don't have playlists either, all my songs are in the open.

Please, does anyone know how do delete songs off this thing in large chunks?

Do it on the computer, plug the Sansa into your PC so that it shows "connected" on the player.

Go to Start, My Computer, then under Other it should show Sansa and the model #. Click on that, then click on the PPI NAND icon. That'll bring you to you Sandisk's file folders, click on the music folder, click/highlight the songs you want to delete, right click and choose delete.
