I'm 22, and my husband is 42. (Long story.....all we have to say is that we're in love, and we got married when I was 20. Please don't comment on thats.)
So, he is the coach of a college football team, and I am in the entertainment industry, getting my musical career together. I'm signed recently onto a record contract, and their headquarters are in Moscow, London, and Los Angeles. That means for the next 7-10 months I will have to be flying back and forth between the two cities. I won't say my husband's college, but it's in the Mid-West. How can he and I work this out properly, that he won't have to take time off his work too much? And I won't have to delay my recording? Thanks!

It is so nice to hear someone wanting to be together on this forum, being he's a coach there will be times school is out so plan ahead with that schedule, and when he is playing a game that is closer to LA fly there and London would be a great place to spend get aways. Get cell phones that you can call any where for one flat rate, we have this for all our relatives, they call collect and we hang up and call them back but we call our out of state grand kids all the time. Make it a year of excitement and the longer away from each other the better the sex is when you see each other. It can work just plan ahead, it will be a tough exciting year and congratulation on your contract.

Just have a long distance marriage. Lots of couples do. You won't be doing it forever, only for 7-10 months. Have him visit you when schools out, in summer and easter or Christmas holidays, and you visit him more often when you can. Good luck with your record contract. Very exciting times.

Will regardless of your situation...Remember that you guys are married and sometimes that means each partner giving in a little on there end to make things work....He might have to tak time off and you might have to arrange some things...None of this is worth it if you don't have that person to go home to....This would be a good bonding project...Sit down together map out your schdules so where there is room...

Start it here and so some singing over where he goes to... Travel with him at times and meet him halfway on this one.
