What does it mean in a pattern when it says,
"sc in 4sts, work 2 sc tog"?

Is this called a decrease or a pattern decrease in your printed pattern?


Basically, you make 2 half single crochets in a row and draw all the loops up together on the hook, pulling two stitches into one and decreasing the number of stitches in the row.

The next 4 stitches you single crochet then the next 2 stitches you work to make them into one stitch using a crochet two-together stitch. So you are going from 6 stitches to 5.

It means single crochet in 4 sts, work 2 single crochet together. You crochet single crochet in 4 sts then you crochet 2 single crochet together. Good luck hope you understand me :)
