That's a lot so far....no wonder every medical, DMV, or misc. forms only list white for me to pick....white....But I'm peachy...kind of apricot toned.....
Yeah, you know the question.. tell me why white is okay and black is not. Thanks.

Dude, I'm with you. I'm half white and half black. What does that make me. African White Italian Irish American? Dude, all I ask is if you HAVE to know my race, then you better give me an "Other" box or I'm not checking any.. And you know what? there's a whole lot of us. Most of us don't want to be identified as a White American or African American. I don't get the whole African American or Mexican American or whatever thing Anyway. Why is it important to state your heritage? That's why the world will never love each other. Everybody so busy trying to Be Something when they should just Be. Ya feel me?

Black is okay. It's used in the media all the time. Only those who are up-tight and looking for something to argue about get upset.
To answer your question though, White would be caucasian.

White is ok, just like Black is ok. I have a friend from who can trace her family back 4 generations in Jamacia. She gets mad when people call her African American. She actually yelled at one lady that "If you have to sterotype me, then at least get it right and call me Jamacian American!"

Caucasianoid.or Caucasian, or some like it white.I don't mind cracker.Some one referring to me as a Cracker always puts a smile on my face.I refer to myself as a Southern American NOT just an American, That is my prerogative.Peace

My White friends say White is fine; no need to get fancy. For me, Black is just fine. African American is not appropriate; most of us don't even know anything about Africa!

American - same goes for every other skin tone.
Only time it should be different is if it is for Native Americans, for reasons such as they may be eligible for additional governmental benefits, etc.
