Republicans have managed to convince women that their families are in imminent danger of being destroyed by the terrorists if they don't follow lockstep the neoconservative policies.
I think women who vote Republican base their votes on emotion, where women who vote liberally base their votes on much research and logic

I vote Republican because I am intelligent and can see through the democrats agendas and see a lot of things in them that would hurt our country. I have always been a Republican.
The women I know who vote democrat look at only a small number of issues and not our country as a whole.

Why would Hillary winning the Democratic nomination entice Republican women to vote for her? I'm a female conservative Independent who would vote for McCain any day over Hillary. Gender and race play no role in my decision-making process when voting...I look to what each candidate's stance is on the issues. As for McCain choosing a woman as VP, he's pretty much a free-thinker and will likely choose the person he feels will bring the most to his ticket, despite race and gender.

Perhaps they have seen through the demoncats lies.
If the demoncatic party was really for women then why put a womanizer like Bill Clinton in office and why not defend the women he raped and abused and took advantage of.
In any business if an executive has sex with an intern he would be guilty of sexual harrassment. Women everywhere would be up in arms. Clinton does it in the oval office and you didn't hear a peep out of the women's libbers.
I guess to answer your question many women vote republican because they don't want a bunch of hypocritical, power grubbing, perverted liars in office

Single and never married women overwhelmingly vote liberal and thus Democrat. The reason is because they are overly emotional and cannot get a man to deal with them. You also have women who are so absorbed in their careers. These make great liberals too. Liberals believe that status leads to success. I worked in the corporate world and saw this everywhere.
As for Republican, women with families and who live in the suburbs are about 50% Republican. You have to exclude blacks (who vote Dem about 90%) and Jews (66% Dem) and hispanics. Generally, it is white, non-Jewish or Christian women

The same reason there are black republicans. We used to call them Uncle Toms (from the book, "Uncle Tom's Cabin") Also gay republicans. Our new gov (FL) is but he's still in the closet. At least all of his have been adults (as far as we know).

That's simple.
Intelligent woman vote Republican. They do so because they have morals, christian values, and believe that they pay too much in taxes. They also love others and feel that abortion is wrong.
