sure, it's called a Havahart (have a heart) trap. they come in various sizes. They do work ! I used one to catch a cute little mouse that was in my shop, & I set him free outdoors.

To catch small animals, you're supposed to close off all the rooms in your house (that way the animal is trapped somewhere) and put out a little pile food in each room. If you see the food has been disturbed, or find droppings, you know the animal's in that room and you look 'til you find him. Just keep the cats in the mouse-free rooms until you catch it.

use a cube that you can find in a general store like walmart. they have a cube that you bait it with any thing that a rat eats and traps it in the cube. it won't kill it as long as you remove it before. and you don't need to handle the rat you can just dump it in the cage after you trap it. but you have to keep an eye on it. its supposed to kill it in 24hrs. because the box will get hot if the animal is in there like we get steamy in the car same way. good luck trapping yor pet

There is a trap you can buy that does not kill the mouse, My dad bought one for our house cos i would not let him use one that would kill it. Not shore what its called but there out there. Also you could leave the cage on the ground and put some strong smeling cheses out and maybe he/she will go back... hope i helped

Get a shoe-box or something similar.Tape the lid shut, and cut a small hole in one end(about quarter-sized).Put a piece of bread with peanut butter and jam in it,and put the box close to where you last saw the mouse.Put the cats in another room. When the mouse goes in the box,put your hand over the hole and put it back in it's cage.

Suggested you put your cats somewhere secure while you look; either for your mouse or a bait-trap cage at a store.
