Honey, the earth screams louder every day. Just look at the snow and ice in the USA. Mankind has stopped listening a very long time ago. Now world currency talks too loudly for the trees to be heard.

I am very upset for the trees in my area! Many are destroyed due to the ice storm. Some of them are 100 years old. I live next to a park with a creek and the overhanging trees are in bad shape. I have 5 trees down in my yard, and it is so depressing to see them this way. Our city will never be the same without them.

Wow. I like that question. I think maybe we'd think twice about it. My dad said he heard an amplified ant scream once. Said if I heard it I'd never step on an ant again.

woa...anything that yelps when i try to cut it or anything...i don't think people would want to hurt it...we would save paper...but where would we get the logs for the fire? no school is good..but no bonfires too? maybe they would be screaming for dear life...i don't think that it would stop the woodsmen...only they become a butcher for trees.

Some trees show their suffering by releasing a lot of fluid which is called "Sap", where I live. This ""Sap" flows like tears.

I hope not. We would probably exploit their screams though like in MONSTERS INC and put them in bottles and use it as our source of power.
