I have only met one conservative that I could have an enjoyable, mutually educational conversation with. My boss is a Conservative, we argue, we also do agree on some issues and we are friends. I also have a couple other Republican friends, we don't talk politics too often, we just hang out. I like all these people just fine. There are some moronic Conservatives on yahoo answers that I do not care for, however. So, I guess it depends on the personality type, not necessarily the political leanings of an individual.

About the same as liberals, except there seems to be a subset of leftists who are gloating over our difficulties in Iraq, and I can't imagine a conservative getting joy from something that hurts our country.

Generally speaking, I hold them in much higher regard than liberals. But not in all cases.
