~Well I doubt anyone will ever get 1million people to answer.
First off you need a real simple question that doesn't require much thought.
Then you got to hope that there aren't tones of questions posted around the same time you post yours. This way it won't get pushed to the bottom to fast.

I know, I wish that too. The most I ever got was 47 answers. But it depends on how many people are asking at one time. People usually answer questions that are new and are on the webpage. Plus it depends on the question. It has to be easy to understand and something people on here would definitely be interested in.
I hope you get up to a million answers someday, or at least close to that:)

This question were asked a week ago , few hours left to close answering it , when i read this, there was 31 answers and by mine it will be 32 , that's so much better than 10 but you'll never reach the million baby ;)

Well, I guess it might be because 1 million people don't find your question interesting. I however am 1 of at least 40 that do!

heres some tips that should help you get more answers to your questions next time:)
1)make it sound fun!!be enthusiastic!!!
2)put it on polls and surveys(theres ALOT of people on here!!!)
3)open the question at a busy time(4-5)
4)don't add too many details(people don't wanna take too much time on a question)

Maybe you have but Yahoo deleted all the ones after 10 to keep their servers up and running.
