you need to do some homework. most important; find a good location!
you know that you need a bank roll to match or suit your dream. good credit is good but if you have that bank roll to back you up, then you should have smoother sailing, if you will.
your accounting needs to start even in the planning stage so that your books will show your assets and liabilities (including what it costs you for the entire operation). if you know a good accoutant hire one.
if possible retain a good lawyer to help you along with legalities.

contact your local realtor, they can give you a list of local businesses for sale, you can apply for a small business loan, you must have a business plan. It will not be your credit, it will be the business credit
