This is how NT-based Windows starts up, that includes XP; what you need to do is to place a copy of this NTLDR file at the root of C drive, insert the XP disc and follow the Restoration route instead of Install.

Even install a fresh copy of XP alongside the preinstalled installation is an option, that would place NTLDR file too.

sorry. but you are going to have to reinstall windows. NTLDR is the thing that loads your windows installation into your ram without it, windows will never be able to run. But please before doing so, consult a computer technician, s/he may be able to help you.
