anyone has ever felt when looking from a place very high downwards how would it feel like jumping?

why is the feeling so powerful? Why is it that you feel scared of not being able to control yourself and actually jumping??? What is there in the void that attracts us??

Good question. Power saw blades have a similar attraction. Freud believed we have a death impulse. But fears of this sort can be overcome with a little experience. Maybe just being is a lot like work, and sometimes we'd like to lie down and rest.

no, but - I've always thought if I did commit suicide, jumping off a tall building or bridge, or jumping out of an airplane without a parachute would be the way to go.
