If you do not chart or monitor your fertility in any way, and you think you may have conceived, you should wait 19 days (or longer) after having sex to test. Why 19?! Sperm can live approximately 5 days in the proper environment; if the sperm managed to live until you popped an egg, the actual conception could have taken place several days after the sex act that got the sperm there. To make sure you're not testing too early, assume the sperm had very long lives (5 days is considered a very long sperm life) and that conception occurred then. Then allow 14 days for the embryo to implant and develop enough hCG to show up on a pregnancy test (96% of pregnant women will test positive by then.) If you have to go for a blood test

There are several reason's you are not having your period . Worry and stress is a good reason for you not having your period. The safest way is make the man wear a condomn. Pulling out at the last minute is NOT a good way to not get pregnant. It also doesn't prevent V.D. or herpies. ALWAYs use protection! Protect yourself at all cost. I know alot of people doesn't like having sex with a rubber, but don't let them talk you into a life that might ruin the rest of your life. Just relax and you will probably have your period. If you are still worried, go see your doctor. The home tests are usually right.

The best time is after you are 1-2 weeks late for your period. So, your latest should have been about the right time. However, when you are under stress your body is sometimes thrown off and your period stops. Best bet is to go get a BLOOD test done. It will tell you with 100% certainty.
What I've heard for accuracy is this:
--positive results are 99.9% accurate
--negative results are 95% accurate two weeks after your expected first day of your period. Accuracy for negatives are significantly decreased otherwise, often being as much as 25% wrong (aka false negatives).

Stress can cause your period to be late. If you have taken 5 tests and all are negative odds are your not pregnant I'm sure at least one would have picked up even the low level or hormones. Relax and don't worry and it should come. I went 2 months without one while worried I was pregnant when I stopped worrying it came.

this is my advice to you and i know easier said then done... take a deep breath and calm down tell yourself your not preg because if you took 5 test and all were neg your not.. once you calm down and things get back to normal you will start your period you are so stressed and worried that you are actually stopping it... when that is all done just remember this and NEVER have sex w/o 2 kinds of birth control until you are ready for that test to say possitive... good luck to you and im not sure how old you are but the pull out method not only never works i have a 14 yro son to prove that but it also does not protect you against std's so be smart and be safe

i would wait until the end of the month, sometimes your period might be late because of stress, but if at the end of the month and you dont get your period then i would check up then. I have used all sorts of home pregnacy tests and they have all worked for me, even when i thought i was pregnant and i did the tests and it show neg, but i really thought i was still pregnant, i waited 2 months before i got my period and well i was pretty bumbed out as i was looking forward in having a baby.

It could be stress..also it may be a lil to early to have high enough levels in your system for them to detect. Go to a clinic and have them do a test..or set up an appointment and have a blood test done. Good Luck

it is too early for the hcg hormone to put a positive sign on a hpt..when i took one at 3 weeks there was barely even a positive sign..so to make sure i had a blood test..they are 100% accurate ..plus they can tell if you are pregnant a day after conception...good luck

Go to a doctor and get tested. ITs the only way to know whether you are pregnant or not.
