Even though Cingular and T-Mobile both use GSM technology and required sim cards on the back of their phones, they use different frequencies for their network. The only way that you can use a sidekick on Cingular network is to have the phone unlock or reprogram but there is no guarantee that all the functions like internet browsing will work on Cingular network.
