And since it is brown would it go o.k. with a black dress?

This shoe is beautiful but I think it should be worn with a dress to show it off properly. You could get away with wearing it with a black dress especially if it stands out to be brown and then you could wear accessories to complement the brown. There's nothing worse that trying to pass of the brown as if its close to black. Much better with a definite contrast. I think its a little too dressy for pants but of course it depends on the outfit and what kind of top you're wearing. I'm sure you'll look lovely.

I think it cute, it could go with both pant/dress but, if da shoes has mostly brown in it the black dress wouldn't look right.

i think it would cute with either a dress or pants.. i still think it'll look ok with the brown pumps/heel and black dress

Traditionally you're really not supposed to wear black with brown. Those shoes are really cute though so i think it would look good.

Eeeegh. I don't like brown and black at all. They're totally different and it drives me nuts. The heals are a bit to short to be worn with pants. So wear them with a skirt. Besides the shoe is to pretty to be covered up by jeans. Duh.
