Good luck with that! I imagine you should look at getting corporate and government accounts.

Check Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps: http://www.fedbizopps.gov) for government contracts, you might find some fed agency that needs a new copy supplier.

Not sure how to go about looking for other corporate accounts, except to knock on some doors and ring a few facilities / printing / publishing / mailrooms.

yeah you can make as much as you want as long as you can sell. However, you have to work really hard for it, and not everyone can do it. You are not guaranteed anything except for the 35k. In fact, i'd wager that if you do not make 100k, your boss will probably fire you. Because the more you make, the more they make. That is how sales goes. This is why sales people make more money than anyone else. But in order to be a top performer you have to always be developing more leads and selling. If you are not driven, and good with people you will fail. America is competitive, and every place you want to sell a copier to probably had 5 other guys there. You have to be the best

Some people are willing to do an 80 hr week and anything is possible.
Some people are also adept at cooking the books and anything is possible there too. (but may include jail time)
