If your teacher can't/won't help and your parents can't either, you might want to try checking out some math websites. Maybe they can walk you through whatever concept you're struggling with.

Here are a couple I know about:

Also - don't be afraid to bring this issue up with your school counselor or principal. The school is there to teach you and if you aren't learning, you need to let someone know.

Talk to the principal. Say that you want to understand the class material, but you just can't get the teacher to help you. Pretend that you are asking for a tutor, but really it is just to "light a fire" under the teacher.

Alternate answer: start a study group of a few people in the class. Get together on the weekend, order a pizza, and study for a couple of hours. You can't be the only person in the class who is having trouble. PLUS it is a great reason to ask people for their phone numbers ;-)

end disturbing approximately getting permission for help. Time for great-boy pants, my dude. There are a number of strategies available to you. the terrific could be a private instruct... they arrive low-value and your mom and dad can likely have adequate money one for some hours a week. you're able to have them go on your living house once you're doing all your homework. additionally, you will come across a pal that can assist you, very like a instruct. additionally, i'm helpful there are places on your college library the place you will come across greater effective suggestions. and finally, you're able to truly have a time interior the day once you are able to go and see your instructors (in many situations after class) so as which you would be able to ask questions you're transforming into of your instructor. in fact... you do no longer could desire to ask your instructors permission for something. EVER. you will comprehend as you grow old that they are not the police, they are not your mom and dad... they're merely instructors.

Complain to your parents then have them complain to the school that your teacher is not helping you which is causing you to fail. Maybe your parents can ask for a parent/teacher conference if you have those at your school. Or maybe you could get your own personal tutor to help you since your teacher won't. Good Luck!

Get your adults at home involved.

Sounds to me that you have a lazy teacher, or maybe she doesn't really know-I've had a few of those.

If your adults at home are not available, talk to your principal. He or she will be.

Good luck!
