Many good ones above:

War - Edwin Starr
War Pigs - Black Sabbath
Sunday Bloody Sunday - U2
Blowin' in the Wind - Bob Dylan

However, if you dare to step into the realm of folk music, give "Green Fields of France" or "And the Band Played Waltzin' Matilda" a listen. I can't play GFoF without tearing up.....

19 - Paul Hardcastle (tells about the average age of the fighting soldier in vietnam)
Civil War - Gun 'n Roses
One - Metallica (already mentioned, but a great song)
You're in the army now - eh... I forgot who this was by.
War, what is it good for? - also don't remember the artist of this one. Good song though.

U2 - Sunday, Bloody Sunday (Best war song ever made, next to one I think is called War)
Black Sabbath - War Pigs (Most hardcore war song ever made)
Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick (Not sure about this one, but it is awsome all the same)

Eve of Destruction, I can't remember who sings it, it came out in the late 60's/early 70's, it's more of an anti-war song.
