Well, the UK It was called POP IDOL and Simon Scowl (oops, Cowell) was on that too. Actually, he was meaner on POP IDOL.....

Simon started the show in the UK under the name pop idol. But there are also versions Of Idol in Canada, Australia, UK, and China also has a version of .it

The only Idol shows I know of are American Idol, Canadian Idol and Pop Idol (U.K)

'Canadian Idol' started in 2003. Hockey Night In Canada is waaaaay better.
