ok this was a few years back but it'll help me understand guys.
there was this one guy and his locker was right next to me and we would usually use it at the same time. every single day he called me ugly and other names and crap. but then after a coupla weeks he started being REALLY nice. like in class if i didnt know the answer and the teacher called on me, he would help me out. in the next class, he was ranking on some1 and i was just like " shut up BOB!" and he looked REALLY hurt. and then one day he just randomly came up behind me and put one of his arm around my shoulder. i was freaked out so i just dug my nails into his arm and he screamed. and then when iwas leaving he was like "argh ur such jerk" and then i said "You shouldnt talk". and i just brushed past him.
wtf was his prob.?

I could be wrong, but it sounds like he might have liked you but didn't know how to go about getting your attention in a nice way, so he chose a sort of alien immature method.
I'd say be nice to him, don't sink to his level, and maybe things will normalize in time.

U did not mention your name.However...i guess he is an immature person.When guys are not matured enough...they're in complete denial:D...If they like a girl..they usually go on like..omg..she's weird and all that.I think that's what happened to him and later on he was feeling guilty for what he did.I think he likes u and was trying to get close to u,in a mean and wrong way.If he is nice with u..be nice with him..but that doesn't mean u have to go out with him.U can just be friends.good luck:)

it seems to me that he likes you...even when he was calling you ugly.....he was just trying to find ways to get you to notcie him...next time tell him your sorry for scratching him...and play it out from there
