Encyclopedia Brittanica has a site that is really nice, but I believe it is a subscription site. It is broken down in to subject matter based on general grade levels: primary, middle school, and High school.

I love Edhelper.com for making worksheets and reading comprehension stories.

I can't think of a third that would be my all time favorite. I actually use Yahoo search and (gasp) Google, for general information for creating my own lessons, and I preview websites that I can direct my kids to from there.

I suppose it depends on the subject matter and grade level. In general I like to use www.vivisimo.com for all my searches for lesson plans and resources, since it offers clusters & seems to find the most obscure information on the topics I need. Hope that helps!
