If you treat it early (NOW) your chances will be much better. I have PCOS and have since before I was 20, but no one caught it until i was 26 years old and by then it was pretty bad. I took lots of drugs and had ovarian drilling(surgury) done and still have no children. But if they had caught it much earlier, it would have been much more treatable. Have they given you a reason why you developed that?

I too have PCOS but I also have 2 healthy girls. If the doctor says you will be alright then don't worry about it too much. (especially at 20, you've got some time before motherhood) There are ways to conceive even if you do find out you are infertile. My advice, don't fret!
