Gee, after 11 answers, no one mentioned Johnny Unitas. I'm very surprised.

Ok guys and "ladies", lol Wendy, Joe Montana seems to be the choice......but he didnt call his own plays or did he. I know Unitas called his. You all should watch the Johnny Unitas story, on DVD.

Dear male pig, Joe Montana, John Elway, Terry Bradshaw all won at these two SB's ( Joe and Terry won 4) I would put these three at the top of my list. Jerk!

Montana - the coolest in the clutch of them all, he was as much a comeback master as Staubach or Elway, but he managed to win the big one nearly every time and got his 4 rings. He ALSO nearly got the KC Chiefs to the Super Bowl even after his Hall of Fame career at SF.
P.S. Unitas? I never saw him play on live TV, therefore he doesn't count.

Out of all the ones retired, I'll go with John Elway because of the stats and the rings. I think that if Peyton Manning stays consistent over the next 6-8 years, he's a strong consideration as the greatest QB ever.

Jay Cutler is in all hazard the terrific for a mild QB. final 365 days there became a large style of communicate of him performing as though he became harm worse than he became because of the fact he did no longer choose again back right into a sport the place they have been getting killed. Vick and McNabb are ok time-commemorated for being injured for all time. peace, Romo sucks yet he isn't gentle... He performed with a broken pinky a whilst back and this week he performed with a broken rib and a punctured lung. Vick and McNabb are time-commemorated for lacking video games each and every 365 days using injuries, and Cutler is time-commemorated for no longer enjoying by injuries that he might desire to in all hazard play by... None of that applies to Romo.

Joe Montana...he won 4 Super Bowls, he never lost a Super Bowl and he was always cool under pressure. He destroyed opposing offences with ease and he made the game look easy.

I hate to say it because these were two words, names, that were not allowed in my house. Montana to Rice gawd that hurt just to to say it. It also brings back memories of those two Bear killers! I hated them, but respected them. Joe Montana, pay the man Shirley.
GO BEARS!!!
