Generally I say if you can drink it a betta can live in it. I'd test the pH. If it's between 6 and 8 pH is okay. Changing the water source rapidily is generally a bad idea. (Gradually switch over to a new source over days.) I'd be more concerned that the watertemp is in the 75-85F range, and you don't change it quickly.

Note that distilled water is bad. Bottled water is questionable as it tends to vary as the same brand may be from different sources.

LOL... My two cats have fresh water in their bowls daily, and will drink from the Fish tank OR from the toilet instead ... I have NO idea why! Best thing I can think of, is to try putting your Bettas into wide bottom vases( the kind with narrow necks) ... at a certain point, the cat will simply NOT be able to REACH the water, but the Bettas would still have Air... AND room to swim...

Normal tap water is fine, unless you live in like Mexico or something...you might want to buy water conditionaer and just put a few drops in every time you change the water to make your betta feel more at home

normal tap water should be fine i dont see that ozarka will harm your fish but well water i dont recommend. and of course always put some water conditioner in after a water change or adding a new fish so it can regulate the water for them.

Sure...in the asian countries from which our domesticated Betta fish are bred from, the water they lived in were mud puddles in rice patties.:)

Drinking water won't hurt him and super clean water won't hurt him, but neither will dirty water unless it's just gross-dirty.

Good luck!

both are fine, just don't use tap water and make sure the pH balance is as close 2 neutral as possible

spring water is best as far as bottled waters. others are filtered and they remove the minerals and salts that your fish needs.

well if bettas can live fine in tap water (which they can) then purified drinking water wont hurt...but it's unessicary. you can still do it though.
