Lying is safe in a society like the American where the truth is less important to the masses than lies.
Take you for example: "I always lie"

The only time that it is safe to tell a lie is when someone is holding a gun to your head and you tell them that you don't know where the money is but you will help them find it. Otherwise telling a lie will just create a situation where you will have to tell another one. If that is so, then you will have to make sure you remember the lie you told. Now if you are living a lie, then the only one it will effect is you. Living a lie means that you are pretending to be something that you are not. If a person accepts themselves as they are and are happy with themselves, there is no reason to lie..

(a clever answer first: when you feel sleepy!) Ok, lying is useful sometimes when you have to deal with children and answer some tricky questions! To save a life, with honest intentions of saving the life, maybe, lying is useful. Risky in court, under oath: risk of perjury! Risky at home in close relationships!

its better 2 b honest..but if u don't want to hurt someone and u kno that they will never find out...then its usually safe...but if u are that person's friend/family its ok to tell them but in a constructive way...not a critical way...like u know when you are too blunt..it can hurt people's feelings...risky risky is when you kno its dead wrong or soo trivial...and they have ways to find out...

It is safe when you really don't want to hurt the person's feelings yet risky because some lies will lead to more lies.

It's useful if you're lying to your kids about Santa and the tooth fairy...or you don't really wanna hurt someone by telling the truth.

Otherwise, being truthful is pretty useful. Lying usually makes things worse.

it is always bad to lie but the only time it's useful is when you want to surprise someone and you tell them a lie to keep it a surprise
