you don't have to worry about making plans, save money, not put up with b.s. from other people, can study or have fun alone... have your time to yourself

Of course...there is plenty that's good. Introverts are usually more aware of who they are and how they affect others, and thus, less likely to leave a trail of wounded people in their wake.
There are many wonderful things about being an introvert, but here is my favorite: there are some very quiet, shy people in this world that get overlooked far too often. They are far too timid to introduce themselves to the boisterous, life-of-the-party folks. Guess what? They will feel very comfortable with you, and you are aware of them. When you go to a gathering the extroverts will be having fun. Some of them will walk in like this: Here I am! You can walk in, find some of the wall-flowers, smile and say: There you are! You have a gift, friend. Use it well. :-)

You need a balance. But the best thing about it is that you can be introverted for a while, and always come out of it.....extroverted people can become more lonely...

You will learn a lot about yourself without outside distractions, for one thing. I personally enjoy who I am, introvert or not.
