I have a question for all the men out there?

Do you view women as equals (in everything but physical strength)?

It's quite ok to feel free to say what you really think, you're hiding behind your avatars, so go nuts.

I'm just curious as I see a lot of comments on here from men who see women as inferior to men, and then it seems there is an equal amount of men who come to the defence of women.

ed-mike - that's a classy answer. You are half right - I was rude (I apologise), but not flippant (I don't take religious questions flippantly) and I certainly wasn't disagreeing with your faith. I simply exercised my right not to dignify it with an answer.

However, I do apolgise if I was rude to you. Not my style normally and you didn't deserve it.

Women are better at some things, men at others. But totally equal.

The dudes that are coming to the defense of the females are trying to look chivalrous and are hoping the girls will think "my hero",on certain levels men and women are equal,i know that their are women out in the world that are stronger than some dudes,I say if a female can do the things that a male can do then they are equal,but that also goes both ways,if a dude can spit out offspring then he is equal to a woman in that aspect,but it ain't gonna happen so men are inferior on that level and probably a few more

I think men and women are equal ... male or female, we are all humans and we all share the same planet!

I see some men on here say that men are better than women, and I also see women talk about how dumb men are and how they are jerks. I think those people need to grow up and realise that we are all human because we are all capable of the doing the same things together. Although I agree with other people that there are some things males can do better than females, and some things females can do better than males.

While I would like to answer that they are equals I think I am wrong. Each sex has its strengths and weeknesses.

Women for example are more caring nuturing not to mention great at ensuring that great flavours make their way to the dinner table. (i know you will probably kill me for that) However would generally struggle if asked to do anythig mechanical physical or that requires precise eye hand co-ordination.

remember i am only generalising I know there are girls out there that are better than most of men at these areas but in general that is how i see the weekness.

Men on the other hand would stuggle in most cases to bring inventive idea to the table with food, I can admit to that on most occassions

I should mention of course depending on circumstance anyone can be skilled in any area be it physical or otherwise, just look that amazons etc.

I have five sisters, and my mother is one of the most intelligent people I know. There is a picture of my paternal grandmother six months pregnant with my father holding a machine gun. She fought along side my grandfather in the French resistance. We are Jews. The same machine gun was in a shadow box on my grandparents wall when I was growing up. It being a nickel plated SS officer's dress weapon, I commented on how pretty I thought it was. To which my grandmother answered, " It was much more beautiful when I first got it. It was covered with German blood." I would say I was raised thinking of woman as equals.
But the women I was raised with would never had been as rude, and flippant about something even if they disagreed with it as you were with my question about faith.

Nothing wrong with women, we all need one once in a while, as for equality, that is a dream.... Men and women are not made to be equal, both have a different gender, personality, job to do etc.... both are good at their own things, You are asking to compare apples with oranges, both are good, but never the same.

Personnaly, I don't see much point in the idea of inferiority. Neither could exist without the other, and each has their own set of things they are better suited for. It all balances out, so equality is the only sensible option to me.

In most things, yes. I do tend to think women over-communicate, but that's just me. I think they are not as good at communicating for that reason. I think women are better than most men at playing head-games. I don't know if that's a good thing, but it's something.

i see them as equal, but the genders are different. men are really good at some things and women are really good at some other things. but i love women. if i could, i'd probably just erase all the men and leave me + a bunch of women. they're smart and nice.
