Yeah. I lived in Las Vegas NV during the early 60's and the govt was still testing the A-Bomb. My parents and I would drive out to Boulder Highway with our ice cream sodas from Dairy Queen and sit tyhere in our car and wait. Then, from a great distance we'd see the airplane and then shortly after that we'd see the blast, the fire, and then the mushroom cloud. After that they stopped doing tests from airplanes and started doing them underground.

Yes one of the first ones to show up on the scene of an accident, and seen the 18 wheeler explode into flames, the freight they were hauling was highly explosive and flammable, sorry cant go on, was my good friends, they had just left the truck stop I managed.... Sad sad sad...
The accident was caused by a mini van and caddy racing...

I saw a car explode on the freeway in Los Angeles...tied up traffic for a very long time

haha! yes!
in chemistry a few months back, i had a lab where we were supposed to put an evaporating dish on the bunson burner. my lab partner and i must have done something wrong because i was standing near it, watching it and suddenly it exploded. it was hilarious! except my chem teacher didn't find it very amusing.

I saw a pneumatic pumper truck blow up. It hauls powdered cement and about 23 tons became air born and covered everything.
