What is the name of the song that has the line, One more For The Road, in the chorus. I think I hear a word that sounds like leilo or something like that. I believe it was in the mid to late 70's when that came out.

Are you thinking of "Lola" by the Kinks (from the live album "One For The Road")?

**Good job "WinslowLe...", I think you're right (and a great song).

Boz Scaggs: Lido Shuffle, I used to think the song was titled "One More for the Road" myself.

Hmmm... the only reference I can come up with is One For My Baby.

The song's been covered many, many times and earned Bette Midler an Emmy after a performance on The Tonigh Show with Johnny Carson, but it's been around since the 40s.

thats definitely Lido Shuffle, by Boz Scaggs.....

Lido missed the boat that day he left the shack
But that was all he missed and he ain't comin' back

At a tombstone bar in a jukejoint car he made a stop
Just long enough to grab a handle off the top

Next stop, Chi-town, Lido put the money down, let it roll
He said, One more job oughta get it
One last shot 'fore we quit it
One for the road

[chorus:]
Lido, whoa oh oh oh
He's for the money
He's for the show
Lido's a waitin' for the go
Lido, whoa oh oh oh-----
(He said,) One more job oughta get it
One last shot 'fore we quit it
One more for the road

Lido be runnin' havin' great big fun
Until he got the note
Sayin', Tow the line or blow it
And that was all she wrote
He be makin' like a beeline headin' for the borderline
Goin' for broke
Sayin', One more hit oughta do it
This joint, ain't nothin' to it
One more for the road

Lido Schuffle by Boz Scaggs. I'm 100% sure this is what you're looking for. I'm not sure if this is how you spell "Lido" but I'm positive this is the song.
