A dog's mouth is not cleaner than a human's mouth. That is an old story and is false. A dog's mouth is one of the dirtiest and only a true dog lover would let a dog lick their hands or anything else like that.

Dogs eat poo because they are in lack of vitamine B. If you want to avoid this, buy vitamine B dog pills at the vet. They also eat grass if they lack that vitamine. It's natural! The story that dog mouths are cleaner then human mouths is true, but only if the dog is healthy! (by the way, it isn't a real disease to be in lack of vitamine B, it's just gross, nothing more...)

acually..i did an experiment on this i took salavi from three dogs and there owners and the human mouth was always cleaner then the dog...so i belive that that is a false statment

that is so gross. i don't think their mouths are cleaner. and they even drink from the toilet too! yuck!!! i don't beleive that statement. reasons why i don't believe it: dogs don't brush their teeth, they eat DEAD animals, and they lick other dogs butts and everywhere else. thats not all the reasons though. dog mouths are so NOT cleaner than human mouths!!

Dog have different bacterica (the good kind) in their mouths that kill other bacterica (the bad kind). Humans don't have as much of the good bacteria to kill the bad stuff.

I'm sure that has to do with the enzymes, etc. in their mouths. No one says dogs' mouths are 100% clean. After all, they lick their own sexual parts...

Because urine and fecies(sp) is sterile. It smells bad and probably tastes gross but it's actually very clean.
The longer it sits out, the more bacteria make a dinner of it and makes it harmful.
Your body is like a brita filter to water.
