my steering wheel shakes when i turn the wheel to the right.what is it from and what do i do to fix it?is it expensive?

Have the wheels balanced.....75% chyance its not that...sound like the rack and pinion unit...they can run around $500 - $700

This sounds like the power steering unit. Either the pump is going bad or you have a loose belt. Loose belt could also mean the tensioner also needs to be replaced.

I am really not certain on this, But I have a '97 plymouth and I have heard my husband say that our van has done this. I think he said it was from the wheels needing to be balanced...Dont trust me 100 % on this..But I think that is why..Hope I helped and if not hope you find out what is wrong..

Well if it shakes when you brake it might be a warped rotor.Or it might be some suspension thing,but I would seriously urge you to check that out pronto.

could be do to a poor alighnment caused by a pot hole or a hard curb check
