soak them in pure acetone and use an orange wood stick to scrape. Soak first for about 5 min. Then you can buff your nail to make it look shiny again

Well, if you have the time and money, go back to the salon that put your nails on. They will soak your nails which will turn the acrylic to a pasty goo. Then they will remove the goo and you're good to go! This costs about $5 depending on the salon. If you want to do it at home, I would not suggest biting or picking at the sides, this tends to be painful and too time consuming. Purchase a bottle of acetone from your local drug store & soak your nails in that, this is exactly what they do at the salon, so then remove the goo & you're set!

You can soak them in nail polish remover which takes quite a while...they sell some products at the store designed to remove acrylic nails or you can get them off at the salon

When i get a new set depending on how long they were there for they either pull them off with a tool or soak them in some stuff. But honestly, if you dont cover your nails in acrylic again, they will be weak and hurt

Soak in Pure Acetone. You can get it at a Sally's. Don't use nailpolish remover, you will be soaking them for days! Just a warning, you will lose some layers of your nail...I ALWAYS do!
