There is no question that Hitler did good things for Germany. He had the Volkswagon built, he put many people to work, he was responsible for a lot of industrial advances by his aggressive efforts at world domination. But the truth is, the bad he did overshadows anything good he did by so much that no sane person would give him medals or recognition for that good.
For instance, suppose a mother next door to you was the kindest mother you ever saw. She took great care of the kids, paid the bills, cooked unbelievable meals, kept the house spotless, drove all the neighborhood kids to sports practices, served on the local school association, and in general was a very model human being.
Suppose she also was the ringleader for a large drug cartele that sold drugs to kids in the local school and was personally responsible for getting your sister hooked on drugs which lead to her prostitution, depression, sexually transmitted diseases, loss of a future, and finally suicide. She was the perpetrator and planner and implementer of all the schemes that drove your sister to this end.
Would you spend a lot of time talking about what a good cook she was? Or how about how she always paid the bills on time?
Everything is relative, and for Hitler, his crimes against mankind so far overshadow anything good he might have done that nobody gives him recognition for those small things he did that were actually good.

What about them? We you become a genocidal maniac you get remembered for being a genocidal maniac. It's pretty much an unspoken rule. If you want to be rembered for doing good things, don't do unspeakable and evil things.
Look, Hitler wasn't a demon walking the earth. He was a human being. He probably loved his kids. He probably treated his dog nice. But he did absolutely awful things, and he doesn't deserve to be remembered for anything but being and insane and wicked person.

Hitler actually didn't promote many good things. The few good things are considered minuscule compared to other world leaders.
He only contributed things that were advancement for himself, and the selfish and blindness for himself, which caused mass death and genocide of human beings.

Those were overshadowed by the death and destruction he caused. I'm sure everyone has a good point or two. The problems come in when the bad outweighs the good by such a large margin.
I mean, "Sure he murdered thousands, but hey... he was a wonderful artist!" just doesn't cut it.

Hey! The only good thing that Hitler did was die; however, he should have died many years before he invaded Poland.

Some of our medical technology, like transplants, is due to Mengle playing around with live Jews.
One of the reasons I would die first before getting any sort of transplant!

To my knowledge...the man never did a good deed in his life. If he seemed like he did, I'm sure he had selfish and evil intentions or motives behind what he pretended to be good. He was of Satan, pure and simple.
