Chuck Howley won the MVP for the Super Bowl V back in 1971, because the MVPs for all Super Bowl games are selected before the game is finished and that player is usually on the winning team. Because of the comeback victory by Baltimore to win 16-13, Howley gets the honor of being the only SB MVP to be on a losing team.
