My son will be 1 year old in March. He's really not into anything yet, so I need some ideas on themes for a birthday party. I have already bought the plates and stuff like that. I just went with the #1 plates and I think they have maybe an airplane and stuff like that on them. We usually have a pretty big party for our other boys @ 30-40 people. Most of the kids that will attend will be over 5 years old except for maybe 2 boys that are @ 2 years old. Any ideas? Thanks you!!!

Make sure you have a pretty cake for pictures, party guests, etc. and have a small personal cake just for him that he can just dive into face first!! You'll LOVE the pictures that come out of it:)

If you are having children guest that are 5 and over, gear it towards them. A one year old doesn't have many preferences to this point, but make the experience fun for the kids who are into birthdays and try to meet their expectations. Games, gift bags, and perhaps an appropriate theme for the age group you are trying to meet. I would briefly ask parents of the 5 year olds what they are into and take if from their. My daughter just turned 2 and she still isn't totally aware of what her party was all about. When your son turns 3 he will be much more aware of his birthday and you can gear it towards him then. I am told that the holidays mean more to them around that age as well. Don't stress to much and have a great time with your little one.

i'd have a seperate cake for infant. placed it in the front of him and enable him tear into it. it really is what each body needs to work out in any case. Elmo Pinata and chuffed Birthday Banner sound dazzling. I assuming there'll be different youthful ones there. Does he comprehend Elmo? perhaps that is a great time to purchase him an Elmo doll. I have an Elmo communicate n Say and that is interesting. a lot of excellent cases.

Just have a regular party like you do for all your other boys, except that the cake and presents are for him. At age 1, they're happy just to OBSERVE all the commotion, bright colors, and all the people. Be sure to video tape him looking at the cake and all the presents. Have fun!!!
