Just wondering if anyone else realizes WHY, HOW and THAT our contemporary idea of a left-to-right, liberal-to-conservative political spectrum is pure bullshit.

Mr. Cathy has a right to express his opinion..he probably made a lot of money from that opinion and that stimulated the economy. Other people do not agree with his opinions and they have the right to say so. One problem that I have noticed, is that some people think that just because Rahn Emanuel said something radical/stupid that it means everyone who has some liberal views thinks the same way. There is way too much generalization/stereotyping in this country. We don't need to look farther than 24/7 cable news entertainment networks pundits/commentators to know where this begins. Americans are for freedom of speech and they should be even if they don't agree with the speaker.

Conservative, obviously.

It was the Clinton's with gore's wife that gave rating on music.
It is the Liberals trying to force a law for equal time on am talk radio.
It is the Liberals that hate a balanced or opposing view like Fox news.

Rush Limbaugh stated that Air America would go bankrupt because no one would listen to their liberal speak. They can't win in the free market so they donate to the Dems in congress to force a win.....

Well, there was a fellow arrested in Los Angeles for reading the Bill of Rights to a group of people. Cops said he was trying to start a riot.

I was a Goldwater conservative, my beliefs haven't changed much but now I'm called a Liberal.

Pure bullshit? No, I don't think there is any purity in it...

To me, I'd say its conservatives that are anti-censorship, as they serve to "conserve" the constitution's guaranteed freedoms. A fine example would be the liberals promoting the unFairness Doctrine, which would limit free speech

It shouldn't be either. The first amendment applies to everyone and anyone who tries to pull censorship B.S. whether it's a democrat or republican should take a hike.

Because that is what government is. And the biggest bullshitter GTE's to run for office. You shouldn't be afraid to express your belief's. Communism is slipping in right under our noses, hoping no one will notice. Well, I do, but who am I? I can't get anyone to listen so whatever you get, oh well!
