Is it possible for cars to hover?

In the future, will it be possible for cars to levitate? Maybe with a magnetic grid in the middle of the city...

yes. there are prototype cars that already do. They are run by a giant fan that propels them off the ground. The only problem to make them a production "car" is that the fan needs A LOT of power to push many hundreds of pounds off the ground. Not to mention that there isn't any legal place to use one.

Technically, it's possible right now for cars to hover (due to their structure).
