In July 05 I was rushed down to theatre with symptoms of appendicitis.Turns out thats wasnt the case. I had a small urst ovarian cyst on my left ovary.

However, over the past 6months are so I frequently get shooting pains on both sides of my groin. All different times during the day and month.Sometimes the pain is mild, sometimes it sharp and makes me jump.

Sometimes the pain even travels from my groin into my upper thigh.

My periods are normal.

I went to my doctor and told her about the pain and she didnt say anything at all, she didnt even examine me and said even if it was an ovarian cyst she wouldnt be worried.

I have an appointment again tomorrow, id it worth bringing it up?

I had an ovarian cyst 20 years ago, was rushed to Barts where it was removed, and I've had no trouble since. They told me that the cyst would have burst and infected my pelvic region had they not removed it. Your GP has no way of knowing if you have another cyst and if it is benign, she should have referred you straight away. Whether or not you have another cyst, you are in pain, and need medical attention.

Before my cyst flared up seriously, I was having sharp pains just as you describe, so please mention it to your GP again and if she still doesn't comment - change your doctor. Good Luck

You should definetely bring it up and if she still doesn't say anything, get a second opinion. Pains don't come from nowhere, they should be investigated so your doctor should send you to get a scan of your ovaries. I had terrible pains and it seems to have been an ovarian torsion. I had a scan done and my left ovary is not ok, but I need to talk to the doc to discuss the details.
Don't let her brush you off, it is her duty to listen to her patients and take appropriate action. Unfortunately we sometimes have to tell them what to do.

Uterine fibroids are usually not dangerous, but can cause immense discomfort and lead to complications like anemia from heavy blood loss. In rare cases, they may cause complications that affect pregnancy.

In cases where there are no symptoms, treatment may not be necessary. However, proper diagnosis and treatment may be required if your symptoms are severe or causing complications. Along with conventional treatment, you can try some natural home remedies. Read here https://tr.im/HAIDq

It may be a pelvic infection or intestinal infection which mimic uterine contractions. An ultra scan will definitely help to rule out the cause

you should ask your doctor to refer you to a gynaecologist, they are experts with these matters and will organise for you to have appropriate tests. i have policystic ovaries so i know exactly how you feel but there is light at the end of the tunnel. dont leave your doctors untill she agrees to refer you. good luck, you can ims me if you want to chat some more.
