You can do this with a KVM switch, This allowes one keyboard, mouse and moniter to be shared with 2 towers.

Or you could get a cordless mouse with 2 transmitters (bluetooth would be the easiest) and it will work on both computers but the mouse will move on both screens at the same time.

But for the cost of the bluetotth mouse and transmitters or the KVM switch it would be cheaper to just buy a second mouse

Um...no, yes, and yes.

No, if they're both on at the same time (unless the laptop is acting as a second display and is slaved to the desktop for that purpose - requires some jiggering with the BIOS and hardware).

Yes...plug it into whichever one you're going to use.

Yes...bluetooth - one transmitter, two receiviers, and appropriate drivers on both machines - however...problems will arise as you click on one machine, you might click something you didn't want clicked on the other.

Hope this helps.

you can use one mouse on two machines but not at the same time. You need a KVM switch.

No, I don't think so. Maybe, if you try using a wireless mouse and programing it to both computers, it might work. But I truly doubt it.

Ummm....why would you want to? Sync would be way off...and it would not function as you would want. you could use a VNC client...but then you would defeat the purpose because you are sitting right next to the computer you are connected to. My advice...just get another mouse...and learn to use one left handed...
