There are not enough people out there to appreciate inner beauty, but there are some. Until you find those people, hang out at the school for the blind. The dude in the Cher movie Mask scored a hot blind girl ;-)

The term 'ugly' is a negative word, that's what makes it a bad thing. There are many ways to describe 'ugly'. Someone might not be the best looking person in the world to some people, so they are usually called ugly and then someone may have a real nasty and offensive attitude which makes them ugly because no one wants to be around them.

its not a rule.
no such thing as ugly, perfect, normal or abnormal.
equlity is a major issue, and if u ask me everyone should get over themselves cos, an attractive person is what their heart is made of, not their outer layers....
i am an attractive chic, and my man is good to me. a lot of people say i could do better, but i love him for who he is and now we have a baby girl together and we are happy... stuff all them celebs who starve themselves and think they are too good, they are not!!! they are only people... not exactly the best people either.... never mind.... you are what u want to be... and all that matters is a beautiful heart!!!

Oh, I think it's an ages old thing. You have your anonymous fairy tales, as well as Hans Christian Andersen and the Rothers Grimm... all writing about Ugly Ducklings, Sleeping Beauties, dainty Cinderellas, etc... Ugly was reserved for wicked witches and wicked stepsisters.... Then there's the saying, "Beauty is as beauty does..." And the thought is perpetuated even today.
The hard part about being ugly is self-acceptance. The positive side of ugly is that when people like us, we know it's for deeper reasons that outward beauty.

Nobody has made up a general rule that being ugly is bad...in first place I don't think anyone has made a rule to classify ugly...it depends on how you think about yourself and about your attitude that can actually really make a person ugly...

it's not such a bad thing if you are beautiful on the inside but there has to be some sort of taking care of yourself in someone.

ugliness is in the eye of the beholder, what is ugly to one is beauty to another...to a hippo another hippo is beautiful..to you maybe not....society especially a society as shallow as ours make those rules...........so being ugly is not such a bad thing...no matter what someone somewhere will think that ugly is beautiful

Because it's ugly. Who wants to talk or date ugly ppl?? Everyone has the potential to be handsome or pretty ...... actually what am I saying there are some ppl out there that just plain ugly, I hope they have good personalities cause they will be alone forever.

I think all the hot ppl made up that rule so then the ugly ppl wouldn't be able to go out with them.. but see I'm in the middle so i dint have to worry
